All about me and then some

thoughts, feelings, and whatever

Hillcrest Jewish Center

I went to nursery school, day camp, Hebrew school, Midrasha (Hebrew high school), youth group and prayed here. I met a few good friends here, Esther and Robyn, both who I have known since I was about 4. I even went to Israel with my Hillcrest, in February 2004.

PS 188Q

This was where I spent 2nd to the 6th grade. My brother and I were in the same school for one year only, he was in the 6th and I was in the 2nd. I remember during lunch time my brother would be one of the pretzel monitors, going around the cafeteria selling pretzels for a quarter. When ever he came around to me, he would always give me a free pretzel. Another thing that I remember is that my brother would always come to my class to get me for the bus, he would copy down my homework while I was getting my stuff.

Ryan Junior High School 216

This is the junior high school that I went to; I went there from the 7th to the 9th grade. I walked to school and back from here everyday, and it always took 20 min to get home no matter what.

I remember going home from school on Halloween in the 7th grade, Maria (one of my friends from back then) and I, went trick or treating, which was a lot of fun.

Jamaica High School

This is where I went to high school, where I spent 10th to the 12th grade. I loved this school, I had great teachers and I met some cool people. I was taking music there, all my years there. This was also the place where I was recruited for the marching band. I remember when Romy and Jen, came into my music class and recruited me.

Queens College, CUNY

This is where I went to college and did 13 weeks of library school at. I met so many great people here and joined so many clubs. I graduated from there in January of ’99, with a BA in Anthropology. This is also where the Beta Pi chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma is located, of which I am one of the founders. I am planning on going back there for grad school, where most likely I will be going for a MLS (Masters of Library Science).
